Hi. It's time for another Dare to be Sassy Thursday Challenge from Sassy Studio Designs. As you know, the last DTBST challenge of each month is a Christmas challenge. The theme for today is Sentiments. You must add a sentiment to your project. This was a tough one for me as I rarely use sentiments anymore. I am trying to get back into it but I guess I am just too lazy to find something that fits my cards and since I have soooooooooo many cards laying around, I decided to do scrapbook page.
Sassy Studio Designs has some many lovely Christmas images that it was hard for me to choose. I decided to go with the Nutcracker image. It is so beautiful don't you think? My little friend Sara has been taking ballet lessons for a couple of years now. I thought this image would be lovely to go with her ballet picture. Her mom said they may be doing the Nutcracker this year. That would definitely be the picture I would add to this page.
The background paper is from Reminisce and I have been dying to use it for a while. It didn't photograph well but It is going to make a lovely addition to Sarah's scrapbook. The black and white designer paper is from Anna Griffin. I cut into this page a few weeks ago when we were assigned to use our special supplies. The snowflake frame was made using an EK Success border punch. It wasn't an around the page punch so I sort of made my own corners. I added a touch of glitter here and there to it. The image was colored with Copics, fussy cut and popped up with SU dimensionals. I also added a ton of glitter to her dress and on the nutcracker's crown.
Hope you like it. Please head over to SSD and join in the fun. Our DTBST design team has beautiful inspiration for you as well. Thanks for stopping by.
