Corrosive Challenges #227-Leave a Little Sparkle

It time for another challenge from Corrosive Challenges.  This time we want you to Leave a Little Sparkle.  That means you can add glitter, gems, shiny things...anything that sparkles.  Our hostess this time around is Debora.  Our sponsor is A Day for Daisies which will be giving the winner a $12 gift voucher.  Fantastic right?

I chose to work with Star Flower Girl.  I have had this moon die for a while now and I was just dying to use it.  I fussy cut the image and sat her on the moon.  I popped the moon up on fun foam.

I added sparkle everywhere by using Tim Holtz's new Deco Sheets in silver.  I also added some star gems for a little somethin' somethin'.  I created the background using watercolor paper and Distress Inks.  That's my favorite part of the entire card.  I just couldn't find a designer paper that would work.  I was a bit disappointed with my sentiment and swirl.  It was an after thought and everything else was already stuck down so I had to work around it.  Someday I will learn to plan ahead.

Please head over to the Corrosive Challenges blog to see what the rest of the design team has created for your inspiration.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

The Star Flower Girl is so elegant, yet she seems pensive, too. I like it when artists render their images to make them convey a wider range of feelings or perspectives.
