Corrosive Challenges #217 - Splash of Color

It is time for a new challenge from Corrosive Challenges.  This one is called Splash of Color.  Our hostess, Debbie Miller, has asked us to create a white on white project with a splash of color. Skin and hair tones are allowed as well.

Our Sponsor:  Sassy Studio Designs.
The Prize:  4 SSD digi images

I was given this beautiful image called Cupid Portrait from SSD to use for this card.  I will tell you a little secret...I got my challenges mixed up and made a card using this image but it was totally wrong for the challenge.  I had to rip the image off and start all over.  Here is the first card I made:

I was making this with someone in mind and I guess I just wasn't thinking.  It happens when you get old.  Oh well, all's well that ends well.

Please head over to the Corrosive Challenges blog and check out what the rest of the design team has created for your inspiration.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day.

Beautifully done. I like both cards. I sometimes get so wrapped up in the process, I forget what the ultimate goal is, too. Ah well. You pulled it off in the end. Thanks for joining our Hearts Challenge this week at QKR Stampede. Julie, DT member

Both of your creations are beautiful, Rebecca! I love all the embossing and your coloring is fabulous! I have often got so carried with making DT projects that I almost forget to incorporate the "special elements" and have thankfully been able to salvage them. Glad it's not just me, hehe! Hugs!x
