Footloose

Today is the first and that means another fabulous new release from Doodle Pantry.  My assignment was these amazing cowboy boots.  They come with a saddle, sentiments & more.  As soon as I saw them, I immediately thought of the movie Footloose (the original, not the remake).  My friend and I loved this movie when we were young.  We know all the lines and could act the entire movie out.  The only thing I can't do related to that movie, is dance.  But that story is for another day.  The main female lead in Footloose is Ariel and she wore...you guessed it, red boots.   That was my inspiration.

I colored these awesome red boots with Copics and cut them out.  You can't tell in the picture but the front boot is raised above the back boot.  They almost look velvety.  I kept the rest of the card simple to not take away from the boot.  I thought the sentiment went well with the Footloose theme of this card.  It's also a good way to tell a guy it's over.  Scoot your booty on out of here.

Please head over to the Doodle Pantry blog and check out all the fabulous new images.  These cool boots (and the rest of the Cowboy Gear) are available for sale right here.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
