A BREAK AND A GIVE AWAY

I wanted to let everyone know that I am taking a break from crafting.  Since my niece moved here with her husband and daughter, I have been busy with them.  I just love playing with her baby...who is growing so fast before my eyes.  I don't want to miss a minute.  I will be back soon with more projects as I have many exploding in my mind's eye.  In the meantime I wanted to tell you about a new die company, Tutti Designs

Club KennyK-Create a Scene

Hi all.  Please forgive me.  I should have posted this card yesterday.  Isn't this baby SUPER?!  I crack myself up.  KennyK has some SUPER (hehe) new images just waiting for you to snatch them up.  I am using Baby Kaboom and Rooftop Skyline for this card.  I paper pieced the buildings and popped them up on dimensionals.  I colored and popped up portions of the baby to make it look like he was flying.  What a cutie pie.   I hope you like it.

KennyK #3-Anything but a Card

  Hello everyone.  I am back with another fabulous challenge from Club KennyK.  We have two new images to introduce this time, I am using Workout Girl.  I just think she is adorable.  The challenge this time around is Anything Goes with a Twist-Anything but a Card.  I made an envelope for my cousin Candy.  She is trying to make changes in her life to be healthier and happier.  My sister and I are trying as well.  I thought an envelope for her to keep her affirmations would be a good idea.   I hope Candy likes it and that it helps her along her journey.  I tried to channel her style. Our styles are complete opposites.  I will have to make one for my sister soon as well.  I also hope that you all will overlook my glossy glue mess.  I didn't realize I grabbed the wrong glue until it was too late. KennyK Rock Your Crafts Freebie Challenge #1

Welcome to a fantastic challenge from the Club KennyK Facebook Group.  This is our first freebie challenge since we switched from Blogger to Facebook.  If you haven't checked us out, come on over.  KennyK supplied two freebies for this challenge.  The Facebook group was given Color Me Janette, which I used above.  If you received the newsletter, a freebie called Harper Blue was included with that.  The rules are as follows:

Create any project using one of February's freebies: Color Me Janette (Facebook) or Harper Blue (newsletter)

PLEASE NOTE: This contest will be open to ALL Club KennyK crafters/colorists using the freebies. You may enter just the hand-colored image OR any card/project made with the hand-colored image. You may enter ONCE with each image for a total of TWO entries per person.  Post your creations here by February 29th.

Easy right?!  I actually colored both images for this challenge and ruined one of them.  Lately, I just keep making a mess of whatever I am doing.  I tried saving it but it was just too far gone.  At least I got this one done.  I created this while I was watching my sweet little niece Layla.  She is 2 and I want to eat her up!!!  Her parents just picked her up and I miss her already.

Club KennyK Challenge Debut

Hello everyone.  I am sorry that I have been gone for a while.  I had some personal issues.  It seems I have lost some followers in my absence.  I am sorry to see you go but I hope you will at least visit me from time to time.  

This is my first coloring project in a while and I am a little out of practice.  This project is for the new Facebook group Club KennyK.  We are doing away with the KennyK's Krafty Krew blog and focusing on Facebook instead.  The hope is that this will make it easier for everyone to join in the challenges, get some freebies and just have a great time.

The first challenge is an Anything Goes challenge.  That should be easy for you right?  I am using the clear stamp Sexy Rocker.  She comes with several sentiments in addition to the image.  KennyK has been branching out from just digital images and getting into clear stamps.  I know that is great for me.  I have been having computer issues and it is nice to go old school and hand stamp.

I bought the beautiful background paper at the Michigan Mega Meet in May of 2015.  I have been waiting for the right project to use it with.  It is so beautiful.  It is by Ken Oliver (my sister's secret boyfriend) and it is double sided.  One side is bold, the other is more faded.  Obviously, I used the bold side.

Corrosive Challenges #234 - Halloween Bingo

Hi everyone.  It is time for another fantastic challenge from Corrosive Challenges.  Our theme this time around is Halloween Bingo.  You all know how to play bingo right?  Here is the bingo card you must use for the challenge.  

The bingo set I used was spiders, free space & candy.  Our sponsor is Ppinkydolls and the prize is 3 digis.  Doesn't that make you want to enter?!  I was given this adorable image from Ppinkydolls to create my card with.  I knew right away that I wanted to do something with the candy background paper that I have had for years.  My niece had the idea to turn the polka dots on the dress into spiders.  So cute.

Hi everyone.  It is time for a brand new challenge from KennyK's Krafty Krew.  Our theme this time around is Anything Goes with a Twist - Give Thanks.  Your project can be a thank you, appreciation or Thanksgiving project.  You win more digis if you incorporate the twist.  All the details are on the  KennyK's Krafty Krew blog. I went with fall colors on mine.  I plan on giving it to someone that loves fall colors.  I am waiting for the glue to dry as I am typing this.  It is taking forever.  I am working on my procrastination but I think I am fighting a losing battle.  Here I am working at the last minute again. I am very thankful for all the blessings I have been given.  Lately, I am focused on one little blessing that I can't seem to get enough of.  My niece and her husband moved close to me and I am addicted to their little baby.  She calls me Nana (even though I am her great aunt).  I love it because my husband and I only have feathered babies so we will never be grandparents.  Here is my sweet little Layla.

Welcome to another fabulous challenge from Corrosive Challenges.  I am the hostess this time around and I chose the challenge.  I call this one Perfectly Purple.  All you have to do is use purple.  So easy right?  Our sponsor is Art by Miran...awesome!!!  The prize is 3 digis...awesome!!!

I had a few issues.  First, I colored the wrong image for this challenge.  My apologies to Art by Miran for the mistake.  Second,  you really can't see all the dimension I added in the picture.  It's a shame.  Someday I will take photography classes.
