Halloween Party Hop Part 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the Sassy Studio Designs Halloween Party Hop.  If you arrived here from Kreative Kim's blog, you are on the right track.  SSD has released some amazing new images today.  We have so many images this time that the DT Release Team decided to split the release hop into two groups.  Half of us will show images today and the other half, tomorrow.  There will also be prizes of course.  By leaving some love for the design team along the hop, you have a chance to win 2 of the fabulous new images.  There is also a special at the SSD store, buy 5 images, get the 6th for free.  Exciting right?!

Our theme for this release hop is Halloween Party.  We were asked to make a project/invitation/party favor celebrating Halloween.  I was assigned this amazing image called Showgirl.  I just love this image.  It has tons of detail on the feathers.  Unfortunately, I covered all the detail with tinsel glitter.  I redid this 3 times and still couldn't get the detail to show through but at least she has the Las Vegas look I wanted.  I stamped the sentiment with glue and covered it in glitter.  The ribbon and green paper didn't quite match the glitter so I colored them with a Copic marker.  The showgirl was fussy cut and popped up with SU dimensionals.
