It is the last day of previews at Sassy Studio Designs before the big release. Our trip around the world has taken us south of the border to Mexico. Isn't she adorable? I was having trouble deciding what to do with this one. I wanted to do something restaurantish (I know it isn't a real word). I asked my sister and she said what about Mexican tile. So I decided to actually tile the background.
I started with a tea bag square, lined it up and printed it out twice. On the first page I put my "grout". I completely covered it with modeling paste. Then I cut out the tiles from the second page. I used the modeling paste just like grout and pushed my tiles into it. I let it dry and then covered each tile with Glossy Accents. This was a trial run. I like it but it came out a bit messy but at least I will be prepared for next time. I did enjoy the process.
Please head over to Sassy Studio Designs and check out what the other designers have done with Mexico Honey. Then come back tomorrow. We will be having a fabulous release party and you will have an opportunity to win all 6 images from this week.
