Life's Special Moments

It's time for another Corrosive Challenges challenge.  This fortnight it is all about life's special moments.  Our sponsor is the amazing A Day for Daisies.  When choosing my image from ADFD, I found this clown.  It reminded me of the harlequin clowns my brother used to collect when he was in his teens and twenties.

I colored the image with Copics.  I drew the diamonds on his pants to make them a little more like the ones I remember my brother having.  Next, I cut him out and popped him up with SU dimensionals.  For the background, I sprayed some cardstock with walnut spray.  Then I stenciled some modeling paste I colored with ink on top.  It didn't quite come out the way I planned but I like it.  Someday I will learn not to wait until the last minute to do my project.  The circles and the ovals were done using EK Success punches.

Please head over to Corrosive Challenges and check out what the rest of the design team has created for your inspiration.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

  7. Gorgeous! Love the bright colors. Wish I had seen this a week ago before I did a swap for April Fool's day. We needed to use a jester, "fool", etc. I had a tough time finding one I liked. This would have been perfect! TFS

  19. Memories............ I was a clown for a summer back in '85.(a sad clown, I couldn't juggle - jiggle yes, juggle no) This is a gorgeous card and a fabulous harlequin - except for the heels on the shoes. I don't think harlequin's wore high heels. Aside from that one thing, this is just a fantastic card. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! You have incredible talent.
