Hi everyone. Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring not one, but two challenge blogs. The first is Altered Elusions and their challenge is Mixed Media. I wasn't quite sure where to start with this one. I was cleaning my room and found some fat quarters I forgot about in my quilting stash. The teapots on the fabric made me think of Alice in Wonderland and luckily SSD has an Alice image. I colored her with Copics but unfortunately I did it while watching TV and hanging pictures up in my living room. I had focus issues causing me to mess her hair up a little.
The second challenge blog is Sunday Sketch & Stamp. Here is the sketch they provided.
This gave me my layout. For the bottom left corner, I used chipboard. I coated it with several layers of ultra thick embossing powder. While it was hot, I stamped it. Then I used some rub-n-buff to bring out the impression of the stamp. I also added some lace and a cute little lady bug brad.
Please check out these challenges and join in. Have a great day.
I am entering my card into these challenges:
