Corrosive Challenges #200 Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to the 200th Corrosive Challenges challenge!!!  Can you believe it?!  Boy does time fly.  To celebrate, we have tons of sponsors, tons of prizes and a fabulous blog hop.  Each design team member has sponsors and prizes to give away on their blogs.  We will each pick our winners from those who leave us a comment.  We also have a grand prize from Crafts and Me.

If you arrived here from the ever-so-talented Rachelle, you are on the right track.  If not, I have the entire list posted at the bottom so you can start at the beginning.  I am showcasing images from two of our sponsors.  The first is Lacy Sunshine and the prize I get to give away is 3 fabulous digis.  The image below is Eleanor & Pickles Hula Dancers.  Isn't is just the cutest?

The next sponsor I am showcasing is Delicious Doodles.  The prize I get to give away there is 4 fabulous digis.  I picked out Skully Santa for my card.  I have a reason why too.  When I was making my Christmas cards this December, I picked out an image that had a skull on the bottom.  It was barely noticeable.  My friend told me that "Christmas is not about skulls" which I heard and changed my card.  When I saw this image, I had to do it.  I hope it gives her a laugh.

Isn't he the coolest thing?!  I have two different people who would love to receive this card.  Now I just have to decide which one to give it to.  Decisions, decisions.  Below you will find the full blog hop list.  Please leave me a comment for your chance to win and then keep hopping.  The super talented Wonder Regan is next.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day.

SBS Commissions Release

Hi everyone.  I have an announcement to make.  I was on the Simply Betty Stamps design team a long time ago when she was first starting out.  I have now rejoined the team and I am so excited to be back.  As you know, Betty works fast and is always coming out with something great.

Every now and then Betty, from Simply Betty Stamps, opens up
Commissions for you to purchase.  A commission is something that is drawn up just for you with your idea, but her drawing style.. They are usually $45 but she does a special for $25 every once in a while. Here is the newest set of Commissions. Each person has given her permission to sell the image they commissioned. When they give permission to sell the image, they get the rest of that specific set for free.

I had so much fun coloring all of these images.  Believe it or not, there are even more than just the five here.  If you head over to the SBS blog, you can see gorgeous samples made by the fabulous design team.  And don't forget to head over to the SBS shop to get your own.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day.

Bianca and Jacintay

Here is a card using a new image from Saturated Canary and my new Tim Holtz hashtag stamp.  When I saw this image in the Saturated Canary store I had to have it and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.  It reminded me so much of my niece Bianca (aka Alicia) and her friend Jacintay.  Here is a picture of them on their way to the prom a few weeks ago.

I tried to make it look like them and I think I succeeded.  I hope you all like it as much as I do.  Thanks for stopping by.

KennyK Challenge #172 - Male

It's the 15th and that means another challenge from KennyK's Krafty Krew.  We are doing the usual Anything Goes with a Twist...Male.  That means you can win more digis if your project is made for a guy.  Simple right?

I tried to stretch myself a bit this time.  I don't usually do steampunk but I love this image and wanted to try.  I think I need a bit more practice.  My sister thought it was great.  Thanks Robin.  I am not sure who I will give this one to though.  Maybe Jared Padalecki.

Before I go, I just wanted to tell you all that I went to the Michigan Mega Meet last week.  I am in Ohio but my cousin, Candy, lives in Michigan.  My sister, Robin, and I drove up to meet with Candy and had a wonderful time.  We shopped and met Tim Holtz.  He was so nice.  I have pictures.  I will share them later.  Candy also took us to Frankenmuth and we toured the largest Christmas store in the country.  They claim to have every type of ornament but unfortunately, they did not have a Bon Jovi ornament.  Sorry Regan, I tried.  Now I am back home and broke but I bought a lot of great dies you will see in the future.

Please head over to KennyK's Krafty Krew and check out all the other projects made by our awesome design team.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Corrosive Challenge #199 - Banner Day

Hello everyone.  It is time once again for another Corrosive Challenges challenge!!!  This time around our challenge is Banner Day.  You must use a banner somewhere on your project to participate.  We are sponsored by Sami Stamps and the prize is a $12 gift certificate.

Sami Stamps graciously gave me this image to create some inspiration for you.  This one gave me a little grief but it was my own fault.  I tried doing a background and I really didn't like it when I was finished.  That meant I had to cut her out.  I usually do that anyway because I like the way images look when they are fussy cut and popped up.

Please head over to the Corrosive Challenge blog and check out what the rest of the design team created with awesome stamps from Sami Stamps.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day.
